Shincha
Shincha translates to "new tea" - the freshest tea ever produced in Japan. According to tradition, whoever drinks shincha within 88 days of harvest will be protected from evil and lucky all year long!
The exact definition of shincha is a bit vague, so let me make it clear what shincha is at Rishe Tea:
- of course, it must come from the first best "Ichibancha" harvest.
- Shiage (final processing) is done as soon as possible after the harvest (in our case it is in hours)
- in short: freshness, freshness, freshness
