Z1 - a very rare cultivar that was developed by selection and breeding from Tamamidori seeds.
The aroma is rich and intense with a dominant freshness. Z1 is very strong in flavour with an unmistakable trace of catechins, for which it is famous. This shincha is distinctly invigorating. Z1 will appeal to samurai who appreciate a precisely crafted tea that does not lack considerable strength.
