How to enjoy a Japanese atmosphere and sense of calm without a long flight or the hassles of travel? With delicious Sencha Koshun, it's quite simple. Just brew a pot of this enchanting sencha and let yourself be carried away by what made the Koshun cultivar famous – a delicate fragrance with notes of Japanese cherry blossoms that will take you for a walk through a blooming Japanese garden.
This sencha also stands out for its remarkably easy preparation – somewhat unusually, it is infused with almost boiling water. The tea leaves are of such quality that they handle hot water without the slightest hesitation, and can be steeped this way three times over.
As an interesting fact, the mountain valley of Tenryu, where this tea comes from, is the birthplace of Soichiro Honda, founder of the legendary Japanese automaker Honda. In a region that gave the world the precision of Japanese engineering, today the same care goes into growing its delicious tea.
