Koukai no Mai is a lightly steamed sencha from the naturally managed tea garden of Mr. Katagi. It combines the power of the surrounding nature, the sweetness of Yabukita, and precise processing. The terroir of the area is excellent for producing high-quality teas - the large temperature differences between day and night combined with the higher elevation and frequent fogs create an ideal environment!
The taste is pleasantly creamy asamushi, delicate yet with great strength and a strongly invigorating effect.
Koukai no Mai is excellent as a tea for archiving to age, highly recommended.
