Handmade chawan from the master ceramicist Petr Jurníček. Each piece is an original work made by hand - the dimensions are precisely maintained, yet no two are identical.
The glaze, distinguished by its remarkable depth, is created using titanium dioxide, which gave this chawan its name. During firing, it forms shifting structures and subtle transitions that respond to light and change with the angle of view. In their layering and vitality, one can sense the energy of fire — as if Hephaestus himself were watching over the kiln.
The interior is smooth, allowing for comfortable whisking of matcha.
A chawan where the element of fire meets craftsmanship.
